They leave your room. Then what?
You get thirty minutes. Nobody watches the other six days — and the exercises you prescribed are being done wrong, or not at all, and you will not find out until the next appointment.
The first thing you will want to know
Your word overrules it. That is built in, not a promise.
Every app that touches a patient of yours is a risk to you, because it can undo in six days what you did in thirty minutes. So the answer to the only question that matters is: what you say wins.
Your patient logs what you told them — what to avoid, what to load, what not to go near yet — and the training follows it everywhere in the app, on a free account. It is not a note in a field somewhere. It changes what they are given.
And it is coaching, not medicine. It does not diagnose, it does not treat, and when something looks like yours rather than ours it says so and tells them to see you. That sentence is at the bottom of every page on this site for a reason.
What you get out of it
Four things, none of which costs you anything.
-
A one-page report, free.
Your patient hands you a single page: their measurements, and marked-up photos of the movements, with their face blurred if they prefer. You get to see what they actually did between appointments rather than what they remember doing.
-
One timeline, your dates on it.
Your dates and the camera’s measurements on the same line, counting only real change. The question “is this better than six weeks ago” stops being a conversation and becomes a number.
-
It knows when to stop.
When something is one for a clinician it says so plainly and sends them back to you, instead of programming around it and hoping. Braced holds come out while a pregnancy box is ticked. The over-cautious direction is the one we chose on purpose.
-
A camera on the home exercises.
The phone watches the actual set and draws the measured angle on the body — so the hinge you taught is either happening at the hip or it is not, and you are not relying on self-report.
What it is not. It is not a rehab protocol, it is not an outcome measure, and it is not a medical device. It is a trainer’s programme with a camera on it, built by a NASM Master Trainer, that takes instruction from you. If you want something that makes clinical decisions, this is honestly not it — and you should look at the apps that have clinicians on staff, which we name on our own comparison.
The commercial bit, briefly
There is no invoice.
Your patients start free. The movement screen, the report for you, logging your instructions and the camera on their sets are all on a free account. There is nothing for your clinic to buy, no per-seat licence and no contract, because we would rather have people using it than have your procurement department involved.
If it is useful, we will send you printable handouts with a QR code for your front desk. If it is not, you have lost nothing. Email Brad — he reads it himself, he is a NASM Master Trainer who has certified over a hundred trainers, and he will tell you straight if your patients are not a fit.
VeraForma is coaching, not medicine. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it does not replace you.
