See the app. Then hear the trainer behind it.
A minute to see what VeraForma does, and then Brad teaching the method the app is built on — the same lectures he gives his own clients.
In under a minute
What the app actually does, in one minute.
Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. The still you see is served from this site, so no one outside it knows you opened this page.
-
The short one. This is the film on our Google Play listing. The screen, the lines drawn on the body, the plan that comes out of it.
-
The long one, for anyone who has trained for a year and not changed shape. Why effort alone stops working, and what a movement screen finds that a mirror does not.
-
The quiet one. Best with the sound on. A tripod, a squat, and the measurement that comes back.
Brad teaching
The method, from the man who built it.
Brad Glaser is a NASM Master Trainer who has certified over 100 personal trainers. These are his own lectures, recorded in 2022 and not edited for this site. They are long, and they are the actual thinking behind every decision the app makes. If you want to know whether the person behind an app knows what he is talking about, this is the fastest way to find out.
-
Start here. This is the idea the whole app is built on. Why a muscle that is tight on one side of a joint leaves the muscle on the other side weak, how that shows up in your posture, and the order you have to fix it in. The app’s movement screen and corrective work are this lecture, automated.
-
Stabilise, then strength, then power — and why that order is not optional. The phased model behind every programme the app writes, including the sport programmes. It is also the reason the app will not hand a beginner a power phase in week one.
-
The basics, without a supplement to sell you at the end. What the numbers on a label actually mean for someone who trains. The app’s meal plan and food log run on the same arithmetic.
-
Where cardio goes around your lifting, and which supplements are worth the money. Pairs with the app’s cardio plan, which is scheduled around your lifting days rather than piled on top of them.
-
How an exercise gets harder, and how it gets easier when it should. This is what the app is doing when it swaps an exercise for an easier one after a bad set, instead of telling you to try harder. See it in the workouts.
Where these come from
One channel, no stock footage.
Every film on this page is on Brad’s own channel, OC Personal Training. Nothing here is licensed stock, an actor, or a reconstruction. The exercise demonstrations inside the app are a different thing and we label them every time: those use Merissa, our AI-generated model, so that no real person’s body is used to sell you something.
If you want the short version of what makes this app different from the rest, it is on what only we do.
