Hands-free
Hands-free workouts with voice coaching
A hands-free workout is one you do not have to tap through. Prop your phone up and VeraForma counts the reps from the camera, names the exercise as you start moving, and speaks the fix in your ear while you move. Free to start; the spoken coaching comes with Premium.
Free account, no card. Brad’s questions. One squat on camera. Then your results.
How it works
Three things have to work before a workout is hands-free.
It knows what you are doing.
Just start moving and it names the exercise, so you are not scrolling a list with a dumbbell in your hand. One tap corrects it if it is wrong, and the correction teaches it.
It counts without being told.
Reps come from the camera and are counted out loud, with tempo and timed holds handled the same way. Nothing to press at the end of a set.
It talks, and it knows when not to.
With Premium the fix is spoken while you move — and you pick the voice, including Brad’s, rebuilt with AI. It pauses for a phone call and gets out of the way of your music instead of talking over it.
VeraForma beside four apps that watch and count for you.
Every competitor cell has a numbered source below. Not found = not in the store listings and vendor pages we read. Partly = it does some of it, as the note says. Disputed = the company’s own pages and an independent review do not agree. Not compared = a cell we have not filled for that app. Figures carry the date we read them; spot something out of date and email VeraFormaApp@gmail.com.

Questions
Straight answers.
What is a hands-free workout?
A workout you do not have to tap through. The phone is propped up, the reps are counted from the camera, and the coaching is spoken, so your hands stay on the weights.
Do I have to tell it which exercise I am doing?
No. Start moving and it names the exercise from the shape of the movement. One tap corrects it if it got it wrong, and the correction teaches it.
Does it talk to me while I train?
With Premium, yes: the fix is spoken while you move. You pick the voice, including Brad’s, rebuilt with AI. It pauses for a phone call and ducks under your music rather than talking over it.
Where do I put the phone?
Where it can see all of you. The app says which view each exercise needs, and if the phone needs to move it tells you where. Short on room for your screen? Use two photos instead.
Does it need a signal in the gym?
Set it up once where you have a signal and you can train with zero bars. The camera reads you on the phone, not on a server.
What does it cost?
The camera form watch, your movement screen and Phase 1 of your program are free for good. Premium is $29.99 a month or $249.99 a year and adds the spoken coaching. Pricing →
