Compare · Tonal alternative
A Tonal alternative with nothing to mount on the wall.
Coached strength at home on the kit you already own, with your phone's camera watching the set.
Why people switch
What you get on VeraForma.
Tonal puts a coach in a machine on your wall. VeraForma puts one on the phone you already carry, so you train with the dumbbells, bands or bodyweight you have, at home, at the gym or on holiday.
Your phone is the camera.
Prop it up and train. The camera draws the line on your body and names what it sees. Go Premium and it speaks the fix while you move.
Built around what you own.
A full gym, dumbbells, bands or nothing at all. Your programme is built around your days, your minutes and your kit.
More than the lift.
A movement screen, your posture marked up, training around an old injury, and a meal plan built from your numbers, all in the same app.
VeraForma beside Tonal, row by row.
Every Tonal cell has a numbered source below. Not found = not in the store listings or vendor pages we read. Partly = it does some of it, as the note says.

Questions
Before you switch.
Do I need any equipment?
No. VeraForma builds your programme around the kit you tick: a full gym, dumbbells, bands, or nothing at all.
Where do I put my phone?
Wherever it can see all of you. If it needs to move, the app tells you where. A friend can film you too: the screen tells them where to stand.
Where does my video go?
The camera reads you on your phone. Your form-check video stays on your phone unless you choose to send it. What syncs from a watched set is data, never a picture.
Try it on your next workout.

Free: your movement screen, Phase 1 of your programme and all of nutrition.

VeraForma is coaching, not medicine. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it does not replace your doctor or physio.
